RESCUE MANAGEMENT

By offering Rescue Management to clients, Trio is able to help save and restore investigative site relationships and project deliverables that might be in jeopardy.  Trio believes this is due to the experience level of our Clinical Team.  Clients often deem projects in need of rescue when timelines are delayed because of the following:

  • Regulatory Document Collection
  • Data Retrieval
  • Query Resolution
  • Monitoring Staff Turnover
  • Lack of Monitoring and/or Therapeutic Experience

When Rescue Management is needed we recognize that our performance has a direct influence on the perceived performance of our clients.  Trio’s Clinical Team will be the face of our clients to investigative site personnel and will have significant impact on site performance.  Their ability to form positive, professional relationships with these individuals will not only determine whether timelines are achieved, but they will have an impact on the quality of the data received, and most importantly, the image these individuals will have of our clients.

An example of Trio’s success with rescue management is with a pivotal COPD study that was not going to meet their database lock date and the quality of data was also in jeopardy.  Trio was able to provide 12 therapeutically aligned Clinical Site Managers (CSMs) in 2 weeks to the client.  Trio was able to alleviate the clients’ concern with the previous CRO which consisted of high monitor turnover, timeline delays and poor quality data review.  Trio helped the client recover their study and meet their initial planned database lock date.  As a result, the client met their timeline and the site relationships were once again positive.  Trio has had the opportunity to work on additional studies with this client from the beginning and, to date, no study has been “rescued!”
